Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?

Who else remembers that PBS show...I know Susie does because that was one of Ellen and Ryan's favorite shows.  I bring this up to point out a new feature on the blog:  a world wide map of where you are all coming from.  It's down at the bottom and if you click on it, you can see a list of locations of where people are who check the blog.  Canada's in the house!  East coast and West coast of USA are represented as well as Hawaii.  We should see some South East Asia soon as Grammy takes a grand adventure in Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.  The map should be updated later today to show all the locations in the past 24 hours.  It's sure fun to see where you are coming from...it's especially fun to read a city and say to myself, "I wonder who that could be" when it's a city I don't think I know anyone in.  Anyway, just wanted to bring that to your attention as a fun new addition (thanks for the idea Denise K.!)  As always, I would love to have any of you check in with a post so I know who's here with me.

If you didn't yesterday, please find a moment to enjoy the music I added.  Each song speaks of being still and quieting down your mind enough so that you can remember the truth that God is with you and that your soul needn't fret.  They remind us that sometimes glory comes through suffering and that suffering does not equal being unloved.  They strengthen my resolve that God knows better than I.  I am reminded that I can be at peace even as winds of change blow over my life.  These lyrics carve into my heart that this world is temporal.   They bring me an awareness of God being right here in my kitchen with me.  They make my heart light.  I pray they do the same for you.

"For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has mercy on you.  --Isaiah 54:10 NKJV

[Jesus speaking says,]...and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age.  Amen (so let it be).  -Matthew 28:20 AMP

Enjoy the songs...
